Brandon Atkinson

CEO

Brandon Atkinson is the CEO of Charter Jet Transport. He is an aviation enthusiast/pilot who loves every minute of the freedom he possesses when flying. It all started at the age of 8 when he went to a local fly-in. This was the first time he had ever come in contact with an aircraft–needless to say he was hooked! Since then, he dreamed about flying, but it wasn’t until 2011 that he would actually get to fly in a single engine plane for the first time. As he became a pilot the following year he also became an aircraft owner. After owning a few aircraft an opportunity presented itself to become the owner of a flight school. He accepted the opportunity, and it was the best decision that he has ever made. He gets to enjoy flying and running a business side by side. This is the best of both worlds for Brandon. Charter Jet Transport is a growing company that treats our customers as family, and we look forward to you being a part of ours.

Matt Riley

Director Of Operations

Matt’s passion for adventure began at an early age. Attending air shows at Otis Air Force Base with his Dad, Civil Air Patrol, and owning a Cessna 150, all contributed to his passion for aviation. Matt’s professional flying career began at a small regional airline called PBA based in Cape Cod Massachusetts. Following a 13 year career with Continental Airlines, a once in a lifetime opportunity presented itself to become a Production Test Pilot for Aerospatiale based in Toulouse France. Trained in all Airbus narrowbody and ATR Turboprop aircraft, Matt spent the next 11 years as Director of Flight Operations for The Americas providing Airbus customer support, ferry flights, and flight test services. A second passion that provides lift for Matt is sailing. Having sailed from South Africa to North America as well as across the North Atlantic a couple of times, Matt enjoys leisurely sails along the coast now.

Adam McClinton

Chief Pilot

Adam joins Charter Jet Transport as the Assistant Chief Pilot as well as the Check Airmen on CJT’s Cirrus aircraft. With over 1,500 hours in Cirrus aircraft and over 2,500 total hours, he brings years of experience to the organization. He has been an active hot-air balloon pilot for 8 years and flies commercially all across the continental United States. Adam has been in the Charlotte area flying as a professional pilot and leading an aircraft management program since 2017.

Tavis Lipp

Charter Pilot

Tavis’ aviation career started purely with the intentions of being a hobby. He had a family friend who had his private pilots license and thought that t would be cool to do that one day as well. With no one in the bloodline as a pilot, he was the first of his group to pursue the dream of taking to the air. At the age of 18 he started taking lessons with Aerowood Aviation and obtained his private license in November of 2016. For the next two years Tavis flew for fun until coming across a friend working towards becoming an airline pilot. He joined this friend for a flight doing aerial coverage of a college football bowl game, and here the aspirations to make flying a career began. In October of 2018, he attended ATP flight school to fast track his training for a career in aviation. He instructed for ATP for a little before deciding to come full circle and instruct at the school that provided his private license. Tavis wanted to keep his career on the charter side of flying because of the closer connection to passengers that it provides. With a background in customer service, he is excited to be a part of the Charter Jet Transport team and provide services to our passengers!
